He began his work in the world of computer graphics at the University of Cádiz, 20 years ago, in a research department dedicated to produce multimedia content for the Naval and Aeronautical industry. It was there where he began to be trained in infographics and 3D.
After 4 years of collaboration in this department he started working in a programming company in Pontevedra, Cesiga, where he directs the multimedia department until Pyro Studios calls him a few months later to be part of the team that would carry out Commandos 2. After the experience in Pyro, he moves to England to work with the creative team of Tomb Raider and Lara Croft on a new business project and a new videogame, Galleon. He continues working for years in the videogame sector through Team 17 and his sagas Worms and Alien Breed. There is where he makes contact with Sega and Aardman Animations and starts working as a freelancer, doing small part-time jobs, logos and video game covers, until Furia Digital calls him to be part of his team in Barcelona.
After 2 years in Furia he decided to dedicate himself completely to work as a freelance. He starts working for Molinare in Barcelona and Madrid, in various advertisements and films such as Camino. Later he became part of the digital effects team of Agora, in El Ranchito. It is after that when he begins his career in the United States, where he leads the artistic direction and 3D supervision of various American companies, and even around the world such as Hornet Inc, Laika, Nathan Love, Aardman, Meindbender, XYZ Studios, Elastic... Meanwhile he is also riding Vando Studio in Barcelona, where he works for two years. Later Bent Image Lab offers to set up his European division from Cádiz, where he is working for 2 years.
He is currently working at the company Leonstudio of which he is the founder and is responsible, among other projects, to develop the photogrammetry department, innovative system in Spain and virtual reality projects in one of which he won the first prize in the international competition of virtual reality with Oculus last year.
Among its clients we can highlight Coca-Cola, BBC, McDonalds, Rockstar, Hasbro or Ikea and many others.
