Glassworks is a special effects company with a tradition in the sector for more than twenty years. Three years ago, Xavi's Lab was born, as an avant-garde dedicated to prototyping and experimentation with emerging technologies and languages.

The laboratory works in areas where traditional VFX do not arrive due to time and production issues. The nature of his projects has distanced it from the imagery of render to approach real-time interaction, in the attempt to explore new narratives that thrill.

The post-production companies in Barcelona have shared a common factor over the years: Xavi Tribó has been responsible for the technical design and installations.

Xavi is currently Head of Technology at the Glassworks Barcelona post-production studio and guides the company through new paths beyond workflows and traditional delivery formats. Xavi also directs Xavi's Lab, the laboratory of technological innovation of Glassworks, an R&D department that develops projects that move away from audiovisual post-production services, and that has turned out to be a centre for the creation of works that combine interactivity and emerging technologies.

Bruno Barrán (Orense, 1988) studied journalism and a master's degree in digital arts and interactive design. Lover of the binary code and octopus with chickpeas from his grandmother, he is a creative programmer and designer of technological experiences.

He worked at Physalia as responsible for the code of experimental and interactive projects and founded Vimod, one of the first studios dedicated to interactive facilities in Spain. He is currently part of the Xavi's Lab team, the department of special projects and technological innovation of Glassworks.
