There are occasions in which post-production becomes a key element in an advertising campaign, providing new creative lines and alternative ways for production to be feasible.
In this presentation, Gabriel Garrido, VFX Supervisor & Senior Flame Artist and winner of the One Frame of White New York Flame User Group, will analyse various experiences in which the team of Serena intervened actively and decisively to carry out these projects.
I started my studies as an advertising graphic designer to get closer to what I have always been passionate about, the extraordinary thing of being able to unify different visual techniques such as photography, animation, design and composition, achieving that they coexist in ideal harmony.
With more than 24 years of experience in the post-production sector, I follow the latest advances very closely, enjoying the research, learning every day and transmitting illusion and acquired knowledge to the rest of the departments that surround me, such as: Composition, 3D, Motion Graphics or Colour Grading.
In the last fifteen years I am part of the great team of SERENA as Senior Flame Artist and VFX Supervisor, actively participating in each project, maintaining a direct communication with filmmakers, producers and agencies, from the briefing, supervising the filming, providing solutions so that workflow and creativity are always an added value, latent in the final piece and achieving the satisfaction of all parties involved.
I have participated in projects for important brands such as Vodafone, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Cepsa and Toyota, among others.
