Since the beginning of the 21st century we have been experiencing many important revolutions in the audiovisual sector. As analog systems were transformed into digital systems, magnetic and photochemical formats disappeared. And many others appeared such as virtual and augmented reality... All this frightened professionals making them think that their work would disappear and over the years it was shown that it meant a transformation in the way of working, making many processes simpler and making possible tasks that could not be executed before due to time or budget.

We are currently experiencing one of the most exciting revolutions in the industry with the advent of artificial intelligence and at Serena we wanted to adapt many of these AI tools in a supervised way to increase our productivity and make possible the post-production of complicated projects in a simpler and smarter way, explaining our experience gained in the process.

We will expose a success case we did this year for McDonalds in Serena together with Creaciones Lúdicas, work that revolves around a very special DeepFake.

Multidisciplinary artist and VFX supervisor since the late nineties. He has worked in numerous national post-production studios such as Telson, Molinare, Daltons, La Bicicleta, UserT38, Dare Planet... and international ones such as Technicolor Entertainment Services.

Between 2019 and 2022 he discovered at the hand of ARC (Arquimea Research Center), being leader of the audiovisual division, how advances in optics, robotics and artificial intelligence could evolve audiovisual production and postproduction today.

He is currently working at Serena as VFX CTO, where he has also been entrusted with the opportunity to lead a recent audiovisual R&D department.
