In this presentation, Félix Bergés and Laura Pedro will explain in detail, through success stories, the work they do before post-production. Thus, the design of the VFX, the pre-production before the shooting and the supervision of it, will be some of the topics that will be discussed in this presentation.
They will analyse the tools and methodologies they use through various examples of their latest and most recent projects.
Félix Bergés
Awarded on numerous occasions, and a reference in the national sector for his extensive professional career, he has won 11 Goya Awards and several awards from the Visual Effects Society (VES), among many others.
Responsible for the visual effects of productions such as "The Impossible", "Game of Thrones", "Way Down" or "Lost in Space", he leads the team at El Ranchito, one of the leading international VFX studios.
Laura Pedro
Laura Pedro Albiol graduated in the first promotion of the VFX speciality at ESCAC and is currently VFX Supervisor at El Ranchito.
Her first job as a supervisor was with "SuperLópez", a project awarded for best effects at the Goya and Gaudí Awards. This 2022 she is awarded her second Goya Award for Way Down and recently she has just presented her latest projects, "Un año una noche" at the Berlinale and "Malnazidos".
With more than 30 projects as part of the VFX of productions, she is currently supervising with Félix Bergés "La sociedad de la nieve" for Netflix and the series "García" for HBO Max.
